St. Louis

Joel went to St. Lois this past weekend with Dirk (Rachel's boyfriend). They went to a St. Louis Ram's game and just hung out for a few days. Joel I'm sure will comment on these pics later, I just wanted to get them posted for him.

Swimming

We went swimming with Zachy and Collin a few weeks ago, and I realized I never posted the pictures. Collin had a hard time staying under water long enough for us to take a picture of him, but we got some good ones. I have the cutest little brothers ever!!!

I can't wait to use our underwater camera in Cancun! 7 days left!!!!

My boys...

Joel decided to wear his new Cowboys jersey. We bought it at the fair when we went on Saturday. Joel is a HUGE Cowboys fan for those of you who don't know. I think he looks dang sexy in it, don't you?

We don't have many pics of Broseph on here, so I took this one this morning. Broseph is such a goof. Every once in a while, he will walk up to us and have a random object in his mouth. He doesn't ever chew anything up and ruin it, he just kind of holds it in his mouth. Today it was a straw...

McCain has family values?

http://www.snopes.com/politics/mccain/carol.asp

I just found this article about John McCain and his former wife. There is an email that is circulating around that only includes the most negative parts of the article. I have checked the validity of the content, and it really happened. I wanted to post this article for everyone to see, and make up their own opinion.

Here are my thoughts. The way McCain conducted himself with the divorce of his exwife is really despicable. For those of you who know me, you know that I don't "go with the flow" of the mormon majority in Utah. I feel I have been blessed with life opportunities, and have been able to think for myself. I do not know how an honest person who really wants to do the right thing can look at this situation and not be disgusted. This country put Bill Clinton through the ringer for his adulterous activity. I remember the talks of impeachment over what he did. I agree, it was despicable, and was a horrible example to every American. What I don't understand though is how can the same people who cried for President Clintons resignation now turn their heads and say, "Well, that was a long time ago, and its a different situation. Its not my place to judge." John McCain is a shitty example of integrity, and not the type of person I'd like to be my leader. I have several beliefs and desires that are quite conservative. However, at this time I don't feel that our current option for staying conservative would be the most productive and best option. I say NO to McCain, and I say NO to the last 8 years of american history. I hope for better days.

Matt Damon said it right!

Please watch this little clip! Very good stuff by an actor of my generation. Maybe because he is famous people will listen to him. Because they are pretty much ignoring all the obvious signs staring us in the face.

Funny Stuff

On Friday, we got to spend the whole day together for work becuase it was kind of a slow day. We were driving downtown, and Joel all of a sudden pulls over really fast, and says, "Oh my gosh! Look at that bird!" So I'm looking up in the trees and sky looking for a bird, and then I see what he was really talking about.

It really did look funny when it was flashing. Just like the sign was flipping us off over and over again. Haha....

Football Season

Hello, My name is Joel and I'm a football-oholic.

I just wanted to post and say how much serenity has entered my life in the past 12 hours. Several great things have happened in my life recently, and the start of the '08 - '09 NFL season is the icing on the cake. No, there was already icing on the cake. The start of the season is like the delicious sprinkles the go over the icing on the cake. It was just an extra sweet addition to the entire cake that is my life. I love NFL football. I love fantasy football. I think my NFL team could win the Superbowl this year. And I think my Fantasy Football team could destroy everyone as well. Life is wonderful. I feel like Gene Kelly in "Singing In The Rain." Giddy, full of glee, and I wanted to share that with all of you. I hope you feel the same.

Good News!!!

We have been waiting for this for a LONG time. Saturday, Joel got the mail and received a letter from the State saying that he passed the review and he can now take the test to become a Certified Appraiser. He has been working towards this for about three years now, and it's finally happening! I am so proud of him! We always talk about the fact that three years ago, we never dreamed we would be in the position we are now. We have been so blessed in our lives. We have a great business with awesome clients, plus we get to work together all day, a great home that we love, and we are just so happy together. I am so proud of Joel. He has worked so hard, sometimes staying up all night, and he really deserves this.

Good job honey! I LOVE YOU!
