Caribbean Cruise - St. Thomas and Antigua

Our first stop on the cruise was St. Thomas. We decided to go shopping here, and it was not a very good idea. We took a taxi to the "shopping center", and no joke, every store was a jewelry store. There was one little ice cream shop, but we walked an entire block, and every store was a jewelry store. I wish we would have taken a picture of the street for proof because it was really odd. So, no pictures of St. Thoma because we were a little disappointed and there wasn't really anything to take pictures of.
Our next stop was Antigua. We has so much fun on the little boat ride in Cancun back in October, we decided to do another boat ride here. We started out taking about an hour bus ride to the other side of the island. Antigua is a very poor island, it was very eye opening to drive through the little neighborhoods. We pulled up to the boats, and compared to where we went in Cancun, this place seriously worried me. I thought our boats were going to sink or something, but it ended up being SO FUN!!! And our guide was really nice. Plus, Antigua is beautiful!

Who likes Antigua??? These guys!

Isn't he a cute captain?

Caribbean Cruise - Puerto Rico

We just got back from a 9-day trip to the Caribbean. Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, Antigua, Bermuda, and ended in New York. It was AMAZING!!! First stop was Puerto Rico. We had two layovers on the flight there, so we were extremely grumpy by the time we arrived. This first picture I took right out of our balcony window. It was the most amazing view! Puerto Rico was a beautiful place, very nice people too.

We went to the San Cristóbal fort before boarding the cruise ship. That place was so interesting, to think of everything that happened there, what history! The walls are like 20 feet deep, there are tunnels throughout, a dungeon type place, lookouts all over.... Awesome.

Joel had time to carve his initials into one of the walls. Just kidding, that was already there.

Who likes San Cristóbal??? This guy!

This drawing is behind glass, so it's kind of hard to see. They said that it was done by a captain hundreds of years ago who was kept in the dungeon this was drawn in.

This was a cute little Puerto Rican street outside of the fort.

On to the cruise ship. Who likes cruises??? This guy!

Stay tuned, More pictures to come!!!
